DALLAS and MELVILLE, N.Y., June 1, 2018 – Verint® Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: VRNT), The Customer Engagement Company™, today announced that Zions Bank and VyStar Credit Union were named security excellence winners in the company’s annual customer recognition program at the 2018 Engage™ Global Customer Conference. This recognition platform recognizes how organizations are simplifying, modernizing and automating their approaches to customer engagement, compliance and fraud mitigation. Zions Bank received this year’s top honor in the “improving processes” category and VyStar Credit Union in the “enriching interactions” category.
“Improving Processes” Winner: Zions Bank
Zions Bank is a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation, a financial services firm that is included in the S&P 500, and which operates seven brands in 11 western states. Zions has been a Verint customer for more than a decade. The bank uses Verint’s comprehensive branch surveillance platform for advanced security, including network video recorders and IP cameras, and powerful software for video surveillance management and recording, and surveillance analytics to ensure efficient security processes. The result is a next-generation security system that provides smoother integration of intelligence data, smarter management of assets and better protection for customers.
“Enriching Interactions” Winner: VyStar Credit Union
VyStar Credit Union turned to Verint to implement an advanced approach to fraud investigations across its network. Using Verint video recorders in ATMs and branches, and Verint EdgeVMS Vid-Center, Op-Center and Evidence Center solutions for network management and investigation support, VyStar made impressive gains in protecting its nearly 600,000 members. By centrally capturing video of ATM and teller transactions to search fraudulent activity across the organization’s footprint, VyStar has streamlined investigations, reduced costs and experienced an 85 percent increase in overall efficiency compared to its previous manual fraud investigation approach.
“We congratulate VyStar and Zions Bank as recipients of our Engage Global Customer Awards in the banking and retail markets,” says Verint’s Matt Tengwall, vice president and general manager, banking and retail solutions at Verint. “These forward-thinking organizations understand the importance of using the best technology not only to improve security processes, but to make the most of every second in time-sensitive investigations that help protect their customers and shareholders.”
